TechAdvance is now Bloc

TechAdvance has rebranded to Bloc to offer a more personalized experience to its clients.

With a speciality in developing APIs that allow FinTechs and other organizations to offer banking and financial services to their customers, the TechAdvance (now Bloc) handles all regulatory, compliance and licensing needs, so you can focus on launching your product faster

On Monday, the company revealed that it will now be known as Bloc. 'We are Bloc. Starting today, we transition from TechAdvance to Bloc. It is the first in a series of thrilling news we’ll be announcing over the coming months.', Bloc's brand & communication lead, Praise Philemon remarked

Since its inception in 2009, TechAdvance (now Bloc) has transited from offering solutions that are focused on utility payments to becoming the only fintech and banking service provider in the Nigeria backed by a blend of licenses and certifications.

He further stated that, 'the decision to become one with our product rides on the back of why we started—to build global infrastructure for African FinTech'

'Our brand has evolved—now committed to powering other FinTech solutions to success with proprietary and aggregated API infrastructure, and we want it to reflect this growth and the relationships we have with our clients.', he said.

With this rebranding, all the social media handles will change to @buildwithbloc. While the team at Bloc will continue with their efforts to harmonize the brand and its offerings, more updates and release regarding the FinTech and Banking as a Service suite.

However, the Banking-as-a-Service API products will remain live in beta, with a full release coming by Q4 2021.   This development is coming two weeks after the release of Bloc—a product suite which helps startups and other organizations build and scale financial services.
