#StartupSouth debuts radio programme on entrepreneurship via Wish 99.5FM

#StartupSouth is happy to announce the debut of a business roundtable radio entrepreneurship education program on Wish 99.5FM Port Harcourt.

The business roundtable show is a 30-minute startup and entrepreneurship education programme that would leverage the experience of successful entrepreneurs in teaching different aspects of running a business. One of such is Tomi Davies—President, African Business Angel Network (ABAN) and Co-Founder, Lagos Angel Network.

Part of the show will be used to promote results of the program and some businesses from the #StartupSouth network, this promotion would usually take the form of interviews with a representative of the selected business.

"The goal is to get a lot more people learning how to start and grow innovation-based businesses while supporting them with access to funding", Uche Aniche—Convener, #StartupSouth tells Benjamin Dada.

There will also be a dedicated portal for questions and answers (Q&A) after every episode.

Some of the topics to be treated include: Introduction to Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Validating Ideas, Team Building, Introduction to Selling, Introduction to Finance/Accounting Tools, Unit Economics, Funding, Pitching and many more.

The show is a partnership between Wish 99.5FM and #StartupSouth and will last for an initial one year.

The programme is scheduled to start on Monday, December 24 at 9:00am every week day.
