The Nigerian Spotify Charts showed some impressive numbers over the week as top artists such as Rema, Yseult, Koffee, etc topped different categories, and raving songs such as Finesse by BNXN (fKa Buju), Time And Affection by Rema, and Chris Brown, Playboy by Fireboy DML either moved up higher or had the highest new entry.

In the Top Artists charts, Rema retained his spot as the longest-reigning artist on what has now been a seven-week stretch. Since the Edo-born musician burst into the scene in 2019, he has dropped award-winning songs such as Iron man, Dumebi, Bounce, etc

French singer-songwriter and model, Yseult also claimed the spot of the highest new entry on the Top Artists at #102. The biggest winner on the Top Artists charts this week is Koffee. The “pull up” crooner moved up by 177 spots at #14.

For the most spots on Top songs, BNXN fka Buju’s Finesse was at #1. It was closely followed by Calm Down by Rema and Sungba by Asake.

For this week, Time N Affection by Rema and Chris Brown is the highest new entry at #5 while Playboy by Fireboy DML climbed an impressive 130 spots to #6. This is the 7th week straight that Calm Down by Rema has remained on the Top Songs chart.

For the top album category, Gifted by Koffee ranks as the highest new entry on Top Albums at #3. Drake continues to claim the most spots in Nigeria with Certified Lover Boy at #16.
