Payday users to earn with its ambassadorship programme

Payday, a pan-African fintech startup has launched its ambassadorship programme.

The programme will provide the users with the opportunity to serve as liaisons between the fintech startup and their communities. According to the company "it's a great way for Africans all over the globe who currently use and love Payday to earn great rewards by referring their friends and family to Payday".

Launched in June 2021, Payday is facilitating sending and receiving money globally from Africa and enabling payments between foreign employers and clients. As well as issuing Virtual Mastercards, and paying tuition and other fees in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Selected ambassadors will benefit from paid internship and other career opportunities, monthly bonuses, branded products and room to network and collaborate with other Payday ambassadors and professionals.

Citing the requirements for application, Payday said applicants must be passionate about finance, business and technology with strong community ties at their school/workplace and/or social media. Also, they must be active users of Payday.

Applications to the programme commenced today and will close on 10th of January 2022. Meanwhile, ambassadors will be selected and announced in January 24th 2022.

In October when Payday raised a $1 million pre-seed fund, Favour Ori, the CEO said "Payday will expand into new territories and also hire talents for their engineering, product, compliance and growth roles to scale its operations and also acquire additional licenses".

This programme will provide an opportunity for the fintech startup to nurture and hire some of the talents that will be selected as ambassadors.
