Bendada.com, a leading African tech publication, seeks a talented and passionate Newsletter Writer to join our growing team.

In this position, you will play a key role in developing and executing our newsletter strategy, and be responsible for crafting engaging and informative content for our newsletters, reaching a wide audience of tech enthusiasts, professionals, and consumers.

Responsibilities

• Research and write original, informative, and engaging content for our daily tech newsletter, covering various topics including tech industry news and trends; Product launches and reviews; Tech analysis and insights; Interviews with industry leaders; and Stay up-to-date on the latest tech news and developments.
• Tailor content to a diverse audience with a mix of technical and non-technical readers.
• Maintain a consistent and engaging writing style that aligns with the publication's voice.
• Optimise content for email deliverability and reader engagement (e.g., using headlines, bullet points, and clear calls to action).
• Collaborate with editors to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to deadlines.
• Work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Stay informed about best practices in email marketing and content creation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience writing engaging and informative content for a digital audience
• Strong understanding of the tech industry and current trends
• Excellent research and writing skills with a clear and concise style
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
