Ingressive Capital: Startups, get your 'first cheque' in less than 30 days

Ingressive Capital (IC) will now get back to startups within 30 days of their online application to the Africa-focused venture capital fund.

"Fundraising is difficult", says Maya Horgan Famodu—Partner, Ingressive Capital.

The time spent applying for funding and waiting for a decision could detract entrepreneurs from actually building their startup. Hence, it makes sense for IC to commit to a predictable response time on whether or not they will be proceeding with a startup.

"We are targeting 30 days for the yes—agreement signed and funds sent. Founders we do not move forward with will be notified before this", Maya told Benjamin Dada.

Ingressive Capital which invested in Awabike's pre-seed round is constantly hunting for early-stage pan-African startups with a decent traction, an emerging business model, and a hungry team.

We are looking for grinders. People who have an inclination to dream big and have real plans to actually get there.

Founded in 2015, Ingressive Capital has in its portfolio the likes of Paystack, and Tizeti both of which have now raised a Series A round of funding.
