Ingressive for Good partners HNG Internship, launches tech-related scholarships for 50,000 African Youths

Ingressive For Good has partnered with HNG Internship to train 50,000 designers and software developers in Africa.

Ingressive For Good (I4G) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to creating and increasing the earning power of African youths. HNG internship is a 3-month remote internship designed to find, develop and place the most talented software developers in Africa.

Thus, the aim of this I4G x HNG programme is to upskill African Youths by empowering them with the skills, tools and resources that can help improve their earning potential.

Ingressive For Good and HNG internship, are branch-out initiatives of two African companies, Ingressive and  Hotels.ng, respectively.

In 2020, Christabel Omuboye, a beneficiary of the I4G x HNG programme, was the first of six children. While in the programme, she sold liquid soap to support her family and internet needs. After months of learning, she was one of the HNG finalists and was rewarded with a Macbook (laptop) from Ingressive For Good to accelerate her learning. A few months later, she was employed by a tech firm as a Developer. As you would expect, her earnings have skyrocketed.
